1. You use the contact form to request help.
2. I send you an email with a company questionaire and any questions I have to get information for a proposal.
3. I prepare and send a proposal via email.
4. You reply to the email with your input or interest in moving ahead with the project.
5. I fill in the contract with the project information and notify you that it is ready to sign electronically.
6. I will also send you a short questionaire asking for two direct project contacts at your company, preferably a project manager with authority to make decisions about the project who can answer any questions that may come up as I do the work and project coordinator who can arrange meetings if needed.
7. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is received, I will begin working on your project.
8. If questions come up during the project, I prefer to ask via email. This saves us both time by documenting what you want and answers I need to do the work.
9. The contract will include a Scope of Work, Projected Schedule and Payment Schedule. If we agree at any time during the project that something needs to be changed, we will handle it through a signed change order.
10. I will prepare written project updates and invoices at the intervals or milestones designated in the contract. Please see the contract, change orders and my 'Policies' page on my website for payment terms, policies and procedures. When deliverables are due, I will contact your project coordinator or project manager to schedule a video meeting with the project team and/or stakeholders to show, explain and/or demonstrate, depending on the type of project.
11. When I am finished with the project work, I will send you a final invoice. Once all invoices have been sent and paid for the project, I will deliver, either via email or upload to my website for you to download via secure FTP, depending on the size, nature and sensitivity of the information. If training is part of the project, the training will be conducted via video conferencing before that final invoice, but I won't deliver the actual project result until payment is received. As you will see on the Policies page, your deposit will be deducted from the last invoice.
